PRRT Treatment Center Rotterdam has been treating patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) since 2000. PRRT is a therapy that uses the radioactive labeled protein lutetium octreotate, enabling the precise and focused treatment of these tumors. The results can therefore generally be called good.

Treatment and Side Effects

In general, a total of 4 treatments are needed. The treatments take place once every 6 to 12 weeks. Although we do all we can to prevent side effects, they do still occur.


After the treatment, you will come back regularly for scans and blood checks. If you live in the Netherlands, you can come back to the PRRT Treatment Center Rotterdam. Patients from abroad should go to their own (referring) physician for these follow-up procedures. Certain rules do apply.
